Annoucement from Drunken Coders: Drunken Coders is hosting their first demo and game coding competition. This is a holiday themed compo with cash prizes, dev hardware, cookies, and several other goodies to be awarded to the winners. Your entry may be either a demo or a game (which will be judged seperately), no emulators or apps allowed. Your entries can be for any of the following systems: - Nintendo DS - Nintendo Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Entertainment System Note: your entries *must* run on the real hardware. If you are entering and can't test your own code, pop on EFnet (#mellowdsdev, #gbadev, or #nesdev) and someone will probably be able to help you out. The official rules and prizes are available here (see also this thread). We are still accepting donations into the prize pool as well, so if you're feeling the spirit of the season, make an entry or donate dev hardware, games, or cash to reward those who enter instead. The deadline is January 1st 2006 (which ever time zone you prefer, as long as it is not made up...) Demos and Games will be made available for download to the public no later than January 2nd, with judging results available after a week. Make good use of your Christmas break, pull out your dusty copy of notepad and send us your wintry creations. |
